he Customs and Excise Office of the Juanda International Airport in Surabaya have intercepted 28 ecstasy pills and 4 grams of shabu-shabu (crystal methamphetamine) being smuggled from England and have arrested the drug receiver, a Chinese national.
East Java Customs and Excise Office head Agus Yulianto said the drugs were wrapped in a package and being delivered via the state-run postal company PT Pos Indonesia.
'The drugs were identified with X-ray equipment at the airport. Our plainclothes officers then brought the drugs to the receiver, according the address on the package,' Agus said.
He said the officers arrested a Chinese national, identified as Qiuyun Zheng (alias Lisa), 37, at Jl. Raya Kupang, Surabaya.
