Singer Winda Viska says that she has decided not to visit her hometown during the Lebaran holiday due to her pregnancy.
'I cannot drive due to my pregnancy. My husband will also object, because my belly has grown massively,' Winda, who is seven months' pregnant, told tribunnews.com on Wednesday.
Winda, who was born on Dec. 3, 1983, said that previously, she always visited her hometown of Palembang, South Sumatra, during Lebaran. She went by car, taking turns with her siblings behind the wheel.
This year, however, her husband, Mulyadi Tan, suggested that she should stay in Jakarta due to her pregnancy. Her husband is worried that Winda's pregnancy might have made her too fragile to cope with long trips.
'The trip will take hours surely. We need to have a six-hour trip to Lampung first then another 12 hours to Palembang,' Winda said.
