hree visitors were killed at the Glagah and Congot beaches in Kuloprogo regency, Yogyakarta, after they were swept away by strong waves while playing by the Serang River estuary.
Ticket attendant at Glagah Beach, Agus, said on Thursday the incidents took place on Wednesday afternoon.
'Three people have been recorded killed in the sea-related accidents, one in Congot Beach and two in Glagah Beach,' said Agus.
He added the two victims at Glagah Beach were identified as Agus Triyanto, 28, and Muhammad Parma Wijaya, 11, both from Bandung, West Java.
'Based on information, their bodies have been found. Search and rescue (SAR) workers at Glagah Beach were quick to find the victims,' said Agus.
SAR team member Febriyanto said Agus Triyanto's body was found on the coast at Jatikontal in Purworejo, Central Java, at around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
