Public servants warned against extending vacations

T

he city administration has warned its employees againstextending their Idul Fitri vacations, saying it will penalize those who fail toshow up at the office on Monday.

'€œThose who fail to show up at the office will not be given a month'€™s worth of TKD [regional performance allowance] and will be given a verbal warning,'€ the head of the city'€™s Employment Agency (BKD), Made Karmayoga, said here recently.

He added that employees had been given ample vacation time, therefore they should not skip the first day of work.

'€œThey were off from July 28 until Aug. 1. That gives employees more than enough time to visit their families in their hometowns,'€ Made said.
