he city administration has warned its employees againstextending their Idul Fitri vacations, saying it will penalize those who fail toshow up at the office on Monday.
'Those who fail to show up at the office will not be given a month's worth of TKD [regional performance allowance] and will be given a verbal warning,' the head of the city's Employment Agency (BKD), Made Karmayoga, said here recently.
He added that employees had been given ample vacation time, therefore they should not skip the first day of work.
'They were off from July 28 until Aug. 1. That gives employees more than enough time to visit their families in their hometowns,' Made said.
