Your comment on President-elect Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, who says he is open to the possibility of recruiting politicians to his Cabinet from parties that supported his nomination, saying politicians can be good professionals:
Jokowi-Kalla know what to do with the Cabinet ministers. You guys, just be cool.

Why is it hard to select ministerial candidates? It is easy and it has already started. Just a few days after July 22 and the whole nomination list is up for public feedback and scrutiny.
As long as we keep things transparent at least one person in 250 million Indonesians will know if a person is tainted and will object online. That's the beauty of public feedback.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who is who.
However, they will have to give some concessions for getting the vote, unfortunately.

It's refreshing to see this recommendation. I would also like to see in the next presidential election that each candidate must be free of any crime, including kidnapping, torture and other human rights abuses

They stated earlier that they would only choose qualified people for the positions for which they were being considered.
No bought placements, unlike the other coalition where the positions were given with no attention to qualifications.
This could be a whole new Indonesia.

President-elect Jokowi clearly says he is giving the public the opportunity to choose the right persons for his Cabinet, making sure we learn a lot from almost seven decades of blunder after blunder.
Anies Baswedan is one who can be our Education and Culture minister and Mohammad Prakosa can be our Agriculture minister.
With how far behind we are in the ASEAN community we really should be able to choose the right persons for our Cabinet if we are to catch up.

Politicians are politicians. They are from the party, by the party and for the party.

I don't think Jokowi will break his promise.
I do believe that all his ministers will be taken from a pool of professionals even if they come from political parties.
We should only need to be able to oversee the performance of the ministers at any time.
