odel and actor Bertrand Antolin is very thankful that the development of technology has made his life easier.
Bertrand says he is a careless person when it comes to taking care of gadgets, admitting that he's damaged many phones and laptops over the years.
Nevertheless, he says he cannot live without them, especially his smartphones.
'I need my phones so I can keep in contact with my mother and my little sister. My schedule is sometimes very tight so I can't meet them [often],' he said.
He keeps two phone numbers; one for work-related matters and the other one for personal use.
'Less than five people know my personal number, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't easily give my number out anymore because I got lots of weird calls,' Bertrand said.
Here are his thoughts on a couple of his current favorite gadgets:
'I love this black wristwatch very much. I just got it about two weeks ago and I've been crazy about it.
'It's got a touch-screen and can easily connect to my iPhone. When I'm driving or running on a treadmill, it will vibrate to notify me of an incoming call. I just have to turn on my Bluetooth and I can answer the call immediately.
'Moreover, it will also alert me if I have incoming SMS, emails or social media notifications, and I can read them directly.
'What is also amazing is that it keeps record of my exercise, like distance covered and calories burned.
'It keeps tracks of my everyday physical activity too, like how many steps I take from the house to a certain location somewhere else.'

'I recently changed the battery and changed my charging habits, too, so the performance is much better now. I used to charge it fully, but it would last less than three hours. Now, the phone can last almost the whole day because I no longer use applications when it is charging and I try not to overcharge it.
When I have spare time, I like to play games. My favorites are Battle Camp and Talking Tom. I also use social media like Path and Twitter, but I don't post things too often anymore, I just read the timelines. For Instagram, though, I post one selfie on a daily basis.
