AKARTA: The year 2013 was a year in which the country's insurance industry experienced a slowdown in growth.
It hasn't stopped Manulife Indonesia from making milestones though. It recently won second place in the Best Life Insurance with Assets Above Rp 15 Trillion category at the Best Insurance Companies Awards 2014.
When it came to the category of life insurance, only 44 companies out of 72 passed the initial selection phase. Manulife, in the end, was deemed a winner.
Manulife Indonesia CEO and president director Chris Bendl accepted the award on behalf of the company. He expressed pride in the award and said it was the result of Manulife's commitment to fulfilling the needs of its customers.
