Traditional racing: Three jockeys ride their horses during the Gayo horse race as part of the Aceh Governorâs Cup held at HM Hasan Gayo field in Belang Bebangka, Pengasing district, Central Aceh regency, on Wednesday. To commemorate the recent Indonesian Independence Day, the jockeys, who were mostly children, took part in the traditional race, which was established in 1850 and has been conducted annually since 1930.
