The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data showed that 119 stocks strengthened in the morning, while 47 stocks weakened and 82 stocks remained unchanged, kontan.co.id reported.
Shares in six out of 10 sectors traded on the IDX made improvements, with miscellaneous industry recording the highest growth, rising by 0.47 percent.
Meanwhile, stocks in finance and agriculture slowed down in the opening session.
The morning trading session involved 570.77 billion shares, 24,288 trade transactions and a total value of Rp 691.77 billion (US$59.49 million). (nfo)
