By 2:12 p.m. on Tuesday, the index increased by 0.15 percent.
The financial sector led the list of shares recording declines, falling by 0.77 percent by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, followed by construction with a 0.62 percent decline, kontan.co.id reported.
IDX data showed 112 trades stocks strengthened in the closing session while 164 stocks weakened and 105 stocks remained stable.
Shares in the LQ 45 index that saw big decreases were Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), Bank Mandiri (BMRI), Bank Central Asia (BBCA) and PT Astra International (ASII).(nfo)(++++)
