The panel of judges presided by Lulik Tri Cahyaningrum found that a building license for PT Kahatex was issued without proof that an environmental impact analysis had been carried out, thus violating Law No 32/2009 on environmental protection and management and other related regulations.
The judges revoked the building license issued by the Bandung regent for the firm's expansion in their verdict.
One of the five plaintiffs who filed the case, Enda of Mundel, said that the ceremony was held to celebrate justice.
'We also hope that Kahatex will demolish their building that violates the regulation,' Enda said after cutting the tumpeng.
