The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is going after people inside President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's (SBY) inner circle.
After questioning his advisor on political communication, Daniel Sparringga, on Tuesday the KPK grilled Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Djoko Suyanto in a high-profile graft case implicating former energy and mineral resources minister Jero Wacik.
Your comments:
Despite corruption cases, Indonesia has progressed politically as a democratic nation. Anti-corruption officers diligently investigate high profile cases without fear or favor.
People do not 'disappear' anymore. Indonesia should be led by a new generation of high-minded people who put nation before self.

SBY lets them do it, drag everyone close to him through the mud!
Many years ago, a minister in Lee Kuan Yew's government brazenly poured out S$1 million in front of his staff and started counting the money. He thought that his closeness to LKY would protect him and nobody would dare touch him. He was wrong. LKY backed away and distanced himself from the minister and he had to hang himself! So, his suicide ended the high-profile case involving the ministry of national development.
I hope and pray Jokowi will do the same and will not let Megawati soil and ruin his otherwise impeccable reputation because everybody is watching him, all ready to hang him. His impeachment is like a loaded spring, ready to go on a hair trigger!
