In a closely fought game at Cibubur, Menara prevailed over Ceylon by two wickets. A captain's knock of unbeaten 48 runs by man-of-the-match Rikesh Parikh was instrumental in Menara chasing Ceylon's 169 runs. Menara lost two wickets in the second over and slumped to 38/4 in seven overs before Atul Kakkar (24) and Ishaq Bhai (24) rallied around Rikesh to steer Menara out of trouble. Menara reached the victory target in the 29th over losing eight wickets. Usman Afridi took three wickets. Earlier, Ceylon captain Gaurav Kapoor held the innings together with a well-made 57 runs. From 67/2 in 12 overs, Ceylon lost momentum after the first drinks break and reached 112/5 in 24 overs before being all out for 169 runs. Harish Tiwari Mamaji and Atul took three wickets each.
At Purwakarta, Senayan Lions beat Emerio by four wickets, reaching the victory target of 196 runs losing six wickets. Captain Prem Subramanian made 51 runs. David and Surjit took two wickets each. Electing to bat first, Emerio were going great guns at 141/3 in 24 overs before losing their way in the last 11 overs. Emerio ended at 195/9 in 35 overs, with Manikandan top scoring with 74 runs. Ashwin took three wickets, while Amar and Prem took two wickets each.
Meanwhile at Gandhi grounds, Mavecrics edged out Jaguars by a close six runs. Mavs put on 212 on board with Raka Rakesh scoring 39 runs and Captain Sandeep Gaikwad remaining unbeaten on 29 runs. Shiva took four wickets and Uttam took two wickets.
Though with seven wickets in hand after 24 overs, it was still a tough ask for Jaguars to get the remaining 101 runs. Sashi (65) and Debdutta (60) brought their team close to victory but Jaguars ultimately fell short by six runs. Chetan picked up three wickets.
WISCI, Jakarta Barbarians and Indorama lead Division I, while Fez Rebels, Metro Indians and TKCC lead Division II.
