ust as in previous years, the Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) 2014 presented luxury models, with each boasting their latest features that enhance users'€™ comfort and driving experience.

The Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) 2014, which ended on Sept. 28, presented the latest in vehicle models from over 30 of the world'€™s top brands. Prominently on display to the estimated 380,000 visitors were new cars aimed at those seeking a top-of-the-line luxury driving experience.

These vehicles offer the ultimate in exclusivity, style, design and comfort and technology, and exude class and confidence for those who can afford them.

Here are four notable models that were featured.

BMW X4

The package you get from this vehicle is full control over everything. The cockpit enables intuitive operation, with an optional heads-up display to ensure that all relevant information is in view.

Generous space in the rear creates a dynamic rider experience, as does the sports leather steering wheel and sporty-shaped gear selector lever. The variable steering with Servotronic allows for easier, direct, more agile and more effortless driving styles. It is designed to reduce the steering movement necessary during tight angles. It helps on narrow roads, sharp turns or sudden swerves, providing excellent directional stability and steering precision.

Dynamic contours and a progressive coupe model are emphasized with this new BMW X4, creating a unique visual impact. Its broad shoulders and stance further emphasize its X-series genes. It is powered by a four-cylinder in-line 4 engine with BMW TwinPower technology. It has a maximum power of 245 horsepower and 350 Nm in torque. It can reach speeds of up to 235 kilometers per hour.

Mercedes Benz GLA-Class

Newly launched by Mercedes Benz is the GLA-Class, a new standard in mid-range compact premium sports utility vehicles. It is designed to be both sporty and dynamic, combining practical functions for day-to-day activities with the standards of comfort and safety the company is known for. It comes equipped with a 1,595 cc four-cylinder engine with turbocharger that can produce 156 horsepower and a very responsive 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission. It can go from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 8.8 seconds.

The lines and contours on the exterior create a gentle surface integrated with high-end technology in ways that are bound to catch all oncoming eyes. The exterior emphasizes strength and calmness with its aerodynamics. Features include a sunroof panoramic gear that can be electronically operated for comfort and protection from the sun. With a flick of a button, you can also choose a Direct Select and Cruise Control features for driving. The steering wheel has 12 different buttons controlling various aspects of the vehicle, allowing for complete control from the driver'€™s seat.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

The all-new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is unique among premium mid-sized SUV 4x4 vehicles. It is the first of its kind to use nine-speed automatic transmission, and has Jeep'€™s classical design sensibilities. It has more than 70 safety features and an efficient 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir II engine. All of this helps establish the Trailhawk as a new standard in its vehicle class.

A futuristic design ensures that it stays fresh among other Jeep models. Its exterior is slender, efficient and aerodynamic, with a tough underbody necessary for any Jeep 4x4. Viewers can see a hood with a seven-slot grille and contemporary LED lights that add a luxurious and harmonious flavor to the vehicle.

Its aggressive soul comes with the support of its Jeep Trail Rated badge, proof that the car is designed to perform under a wide range of off-road conditions. Its differential lock can be kept in low mode, and can lock automatically under specific conditions, such as during rocky periods to maximize wheel traction.

Its 2.4 liter MultiAir II nine-speed engine allows for perfect use on the road as well. It is energy-efficient and can produce 177 horsepower and 229 Nm of torque. It is the first SUV of its kind to use automatic nine-speed transmission that allows for smoother changes.

Dodge Journey 100th Anniversary Edition

A family luxury crossover with a wide variety of features of increased comfort, safety, utility and luxury, this anniversary vehicle has a rugged, American-flavored design that radiates strength and confidence. Its 19-inch 100th anniversary logo can be easily seen on the front fender and hubcaps, signaling to all onlookers that this is a limited-edition vehicle.

It has all the features of the Dodge Journey Platinum, including an Alpine Premium Sound System with six speakers and a sound processor integrated with an amplifier for the best in sound quality. It comes equipped with an efficient 2.4-liter Inline-4 engine, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, more than 60 safety features and a luxurious leather interior.

Its powerful and efficient engine generates as much as 173 horsepower and 225 Nm in maximum torque. Interior-wise, passenger safety and comfort is top priority, with features such as electronic stability control, traction control, electronic roll mitigation and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
