man driving a small pickup truck, 31-year-old Dedy Sulaeman, died after crashing into a Lamborghini driven by renowned lawyer Hotman Paris on the Wiyoto Wiyono toll road in Jakarta at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said that Dedy's companion, Mulyono, was injured in the crash and was treated at Medika Hospital in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, as reported by beritajakarta.com.
'Hotman only sustained minor injuries. He was questioned about the incident at the North Jakarta Traffic Police headquarters,' Rikwanto said.
He explained that the accident occurred when the truck was driving in front of Hotman's Lamborghini. The truck's tires suddenly burst and the car spun out of control. Hotman was unable to avoid the truck and crashed into it.
Two other people at the scene of the crime were summoned to the police headquarters to be questioned about the incident. The cars have also been confiscated for investigation.
