wo women were found dead in their office in Tamansari, West Jakarta, on Saturday.
Tamansari police station chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Tri Suhartono said that the victims, Yuyun Herawati, 40, and Yuniwati Sujana, 43, were allegedly killed by a suspect identified as Johan, who had been working at their company for only three days.
Tri said the bodies were discovered by police after another employee, Alfred, reported that the office's gate was open.
'This witness became suspicious upon his arrival at the gate. He then entered and found the office door locked,' Tri said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Alfred peered through the office window and saw blood and a body on the office floor, Tri said. A coworker called the police, who arrived on the scene and discovered the bodies.
'When the police personnel arrived at the office the murderer was still inside and was arrested after trying to escape through the office's ceiling,' Tri said.
Another witness, Arif, a local food and drinks vendor, confirmed the suspect had worked for only three days at the office.
Police are interrogating the suspect.
