JAKARTA: Actress Sha Ine Febriyanti says she really enjoys performing monologues, something that gives her free reign to realize the characters she plays.
'You act alone in a monologue, no other characters on the stage, like in theater. Therefore, I can imagine freely about my character,' she said, as quoted by Antara.
'Many characters that I have played have unusual lives due to trauma and other things,' Ine added.
After presenting several monologues in Indonesia this year, Ine will leave for France next year for more performances.
'I may go to France next year, continuing my previous monologue, titled Drop,' the 38-year-old said.
'After that one, maybe I'll take a break, I'm old,' she said, laughing.
