Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with president-elect and Jakarta Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo at City Hall on Monday, to discuss potential cooperation under the latter's administration.
Jokowi, who found success in the furniture business before joining the political arena in 2005, said that he had asked Zuckerberg to not see Indonesia as a mere potential market.
Your comments:
I laughed when people in the Tanah Abang market did not recognize Zuckerberg and only knew Jokowi. I believe most of the sellers are facebookers but they don't care who created the social media because they don't read.

When I discovered Tanah Abang on my first Jakarta walkabout, it was probably the most fascinating place I'd ever seen! The vendors and gang members were the friendliest people I ever came across in Jakarta, and even with no shared language, we were able to sit down, share coffee and cigarettes and communicate with each other.
