JAKARTA: Singer Agnes Monica says she's thrilled to be a nominated as Best Southeast Asia Act at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
'I'm so excited especially because fans voted for the nomination. Their voices really matter a lot to me. It's an honor for me, because it shows that I'm actually on the right track,' she said in a phone interview with The Jakarta Post on Tuesday.
Agnes, currently in Los Angeles to work on a new album, received the 'wild card' nominee spot for the category after she received the most votes from fans.
The singer was nominated along with Filipino siren Sarah Geronimo and the venerable Indonesian rockers NOAH, among others.
