In another match, Chen Long continued Chinese domination of the tournament by securing a place in the men's singles final by defeating Kashyap Parupalli of India 21-16, 21-15.
His compatriots took to the court later but the team was already assured places in the finals with them being paired against each other in the mixed doubles, women's doubles and women's singles semifinals.
