ames of individuals poised to become Cabinet members in the administration of Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo and Jusuf Kalla have surfaced online and on social media, though it remains uncertain when the recently inaugurated President and Vice President will officially announce the composition of their Cabinet.

Tempo.co has reported that Jokowi will appoint several transition team members to ministerial posts. Rini Sumarno, former trade minister in the Megawati administration, is reported to have been selected as either state-owned enterprises minister or coordinating economic minister, while Hasto Kristiyanto, Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle's (PDI-P) deputy secretary-general, has reportedly been appointed Cabinet secretary. The party'€™s secretary-general, Tjahjo Kumolo, was also reported to be a candidate for Cabinet secretary.

PDI-P members Puan Maharani and Eva Kusuma Sundari are rumored to have been picked as coordinating minister of human development and social affairs minister, respectively.

Anies Baswedan, a transition team member who is also rector of Paramadina University in Jakarta, has also reportedly received a ministerial post.

According to kompas.com, other Jokowi coalition supporters reported to have received ministerial posts include National Awakening Party (PKB) chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, who was manpower and transmigration minister in the Cabinet of former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Budiman, state railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) president director Ignasius Jonan, state seaport operator Pelindo II president director RJ Lino, former law and human rights minister Hamid Awaluddin and former Bank Indonesia governor Darmin Nasution, as well as World Bank managing director Sri Mulyani Indrawati are also reported to have been appointed by Jokowi as Cabinet members.

Jokowi and Kalla were sworn in as President and Vice President at a plenary session of the People'€™s Consultative Assembly, on Monday. (alz/ebf)(++++)
