AKARTA: Former Putri Indonesia Whulandary Herman says she likes to bring home-cooked meals when she has to work long hours.
The 27-year-old, who is now a runway model, brings meals from home during fashion shows as she has to be ready from early morning until late at night. The organizers usually provide models with fast food but she cannot eat it.
'I'm a vegetarian, so when I have a fashion show, I like to bring my own meals, cooked by my mom, in a lunch box,' she said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Whulan said she wanted to keep her body healthy amid her busy schedule. 'I'm not ashamed of it, frequently other models ask to share my meals, too.'
In addition, she said, she routinely participated in yoga classes to balance her busy life.
'I choose yoga because it brings peace of mind and it's not too heavy.'
