MIS scraped past a combative Emerio by two wickets, while Metro Indians thumped TKCC by 135 runs in this week'€™s matches in the Apple Coal JCA League 2014-15.

GMIS look great while their run-machine Pratyush Chaturvedi is at the crease, and vulnerable the moment he gets out.

It was a familiar story: GMIS were cruising at 129/4 after 24 overs with 59 runs required in 11 overs and Pratyush on 81. His wicket triggered a collapse, and GMIS struggled to reach the requisite 188 runs by the last over, losing eight wickets, including three to David.

Earlier, electing to bat first, Emerio recovered from 51/4 after 12 overs to post 187/9 after 35 overs. Rajat was non-out on 80 runs and Manish scored 37. Pratyush took four wickets while Diwakar and Maulik picked up two each.

In the other match at Cibubur, Prabhu Kaliraj blasted 112 runs against his former teammates TKCC and helped his side Metro Indians to register a thumping 135-run victory.

After 24 overs, Prabhu, the one-man batting army of Metro, had 112 runs out of a total score of 162/6. He got out immediately after the second drinks break and Metro collapsed to 201 all out in the 31st over. Swaroop and Nagesh took four and three wickets, respectively. TKCC'€™s run chase was like a fashion parade, with each batsman going in quick and coming out quicker. TKCC'€™s misery was worth 66 runs after 13 overs. Anand took three wickets and Ventak took two.

GMIS CC, WISCI and Jakarta Barbarians lead Division I, while Fez Rebels, Metro Indians and Mavecrics lead Division II.
