The National Police have deported a Singaporean citizen to his country of origin.
Lim Yong Nam, 40, is wanted by the US Justice Department for allegedly exporting via Singapore US-manufactured electronic devices that were used in bombs in Iran.
National Police chief Gen. Sutarman told The Jakarta Post on Thursday that police had handed over the suspect to the local immigration office for deportation to his home country.
'He has been deported to his country of origin by the immigration office. The legal process is under the authority of the country for extradition,' said Sutarman in Batam.
