Your comments:
One way to stop corruption is to take away what the corrupt individual covets most: his relationships, adoration and acceptance of those 'other' rich and powerful people.
It should be placed into statute the minimum fines to be two times the amount the individual is convicted of having received, restitution to the state or injured party full amounts having been taken in the corruption act and forfeiture of all assets purchased with illicit funds.
Furthermore, any individual having benefited from the use or receipt of said illicit funds shall be liable for the same penalties as the corrupt individual, upon conviction of receipt of said funds.
