tate-run diversified miner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) launched in Jakarta on Wednesday a gold-investment service called Gold Safety Management Planning (BRANKAS).
'BRANKAS will provide every gold investor with greater benefits,' Antam director Hari Widjajanto said on Wednesday as quoted bykompas.com.
Apart from guaranteed pure fine gold, the company's fine gold bars are certified by the London Bullion Market Association, providing investors with the security that their gold bars are recognized and accepted by the global market.
BRANKAS is also aimed at penetrating the domestic retail market as well as anticipating the government's plan to ban the sale of raw mineral ores.
'Customers can enjoy this BRANKAS service by registering their gold bars in our gold boutiques,' he said, adding that the gold was also insured.
Antam has opened 10 gold boutiques in nine major cities across the archipelago such as in Jakarta, Bandung, West Java, Semarang, Central Java, Makassar, South Sulawesi, and Medan, North Sumatra. (nfo)(++++)
