ennheiser's new Urbanite headphones, launched in Indonesia earlier this month, are the new sound of urban style that bring the bass for an intense club experience on the move.
The audio specialist's new mobile headphone range ' including the on-ear Urbanite and the over-ear Urbanite XL ' delivers massive bass with Sennheiser's uncompromising audio expertise ensuring excellent clarity throughout the entire frequency range.
'Sennheiser Urban headphones are for the generation of millennials who know more and demand more. They love their tunes heavy and love to look good, but are smart consumers who won't compromise on quality. They want bass but want it done right. The Sennheiser Urbanite is answering these demands,' said Tim Voelker, director of sales and marketing consumer at Sennheiser Communications A/S.
The Urbanite range is designed with an integrated in-line remote control and microphone for taking calls and controlling music on smartphones and tablets, with dedicated versions for either Apple iOS devices or for Windows- and Android-driven devices, such as Samsung Galaxy models.
The stainless-steel hinges add a striking touch of rugged urban style to design touches like the color-coordinated fabric-wrapped headband. The use of metal on the premium hinge mechanism and the tough aluminum sliders ensures that these headphones are styled to last.
The durable sliders and hinges also work with the super-soft ear pads to ensure that the listener is insulated from external noise. And with its larger ear-pads, the Sennheiser Urbanite XL offers even greater levels of comfort.
'We are constantly listening to our customers and delivering products that fit seamlessly into their lifestyles,' said Ng Chee Soon, president and managing director of Sennheiser Electronic Asia. 'The Urbanite headphones are one of our key ranges of products this year, targeting the young, urban youths in Indonesia. We believe it is a unique proposition combining great bass sound and a fashionable design with a high-quality build that fills the gap in the current headphones market.'
The Urbanite retails at Rp 2.69 million (US$221), while the Urbanite XL is priced at Rp 3.49 million. Both are available at the Sennheiser Concept Corner in Ratu Plaza, Jakarta, and at other authorized retailers. (JP)
