I think this is a time where we should give the new President the benefit of the doubt.

But he should keep a watchful eye on the attorney general'€™s performance.

Corolus Putranto

We have to give him a chance.

Ferril Irham Muzaki

The President did the right thing by appointing HM Prasetyo as the attorney general.

Let Prasetyo work to combat corruption, while the media and the people continue to monitor his performance.

Sinaga Harbili

Whoever is appointed attorney general will be met with criticism. It'€™s difficult to fulfill everybody'€™s expectations.

Why don'€™t we give him a chance and let him prove himself?

Oom Roes

The appointment of Prasetyo is in line with the political traditions of this country.

Azwar Bareta

Judging from his past, it seems that he had a difficult time maintaining any one position for any length of time.  Typical of any government assignment, (in any country), if you are incompetent, move them off to another corner of the building for safe keeping until they retire. I refrain from drawing any conclusions, as there is just too much politics involved.

It appears that our new '€œpeople-oriented'€ president has succumbed to the pressures of the opposition, which, in turn, open up opportunities for more corruption, without prosecution.  It is the same old story.

Ozmostus

He submitted an application to the KPK and failed in the early stages. That should raise some eyebrows.
