Indonesiaâs tax revenues amounted to Rp 812
ndonesia'stax revenues amounted to Rp 812.1 trillion as of November 2014, accounting for75.73 percent of the target of Rp 1.072 quadrillion in the revised 2014 statebudget, according to data from the Finance Ministry's directorate general oftaxation.
The tax revenues were higher than those in the same period last year, when they stood at Rp 761.7 trillion, or 76.54 percent of the target, the tax office noted in a press statement.
The tax revenues worth Rp 812.1 trillion included tax on oil and gas, which reached Rp 389.1 trillion, or 80 percent of the target of Rp 485.9 trillion, as well as value-added and luxury-sales taxes, which amounted to Rp 328.4 trillion, or 69 percent of the target of Rp 475.5 trillion.
State revenue from oil and gas income tax stood at Rp 74.5 trillion, or 88.81 percent of the target of Rp 83.8 trillion, and that from land and building tax reached Rp 14.9 trillion, or 68.5 percent of the target of Rp 21.7 trillion. Revenues from other taxes reached Rp 5 trillion, or 97.5 percent of the target of Rp 5.1 trillion.
The average tax revenues in 2014 were higher than those in 2013, when income tax receipts from the oil and gas industry were recorded at Rp 359.1 trillion, or 77.3 percent of the target.
