JAKARTA: Sheila On 7 has launched its 8th album, Musim yang Baik (A Good Season), which members say is a return to the band's salad days.
'We started in 1999 and recorded analog. In the digital era, we've been using overdubbing and sound effects,' guitarist Eross said at the album launch on Wednesday, kapanlagi.com reported.
'We're tired of all that and therefore we recorded this album to make it similar to an analog recording,' Eross said, adding that the album had a recorded-live vibe, although it was made in a studio.
Vocalist Duta said that the group needed to refresh. 'Because of our four-piece format, we sound more fresh and cool.'
