West Java Police spokesman Sr
West Java Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Martinus Sitompul has been named as the new City Police spokesman, replacing Sr. Comr. Rikwanto.
'The Jakarta Police spokesman position will be handed over to the West Java spokesman because the latter is considered to be competent,' National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Sompie said as quoted by Antara news agency on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Rikwanto, who has served as the City Police spokesman for three years, will replace Sr. Comr. Agus Rianto as the public information division head at the National Police headquarters.
Agus has been assigned as the National Police spokesman, replacing Brig. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar, who has been promoted to serve as the Banten Police chief.
The appointment was regulated in the confidential telegram number ST/2500/XII/2014 and published on the Jakarta Police official website poldametrojaya.info on Wednesday. The website stated that the reshuffle was a part of the National Police's regular rotation. (***)
