Two Australian brothers, Scott O'Hehir, 32, and Timothy O'Hehir, 27, have been detained at North Kuta police precinct after they allegedly assaulted a local man in Canggu village, North Kuta, Bali.
The brothers reportedly beat up and injured the man after the latter reprimanded them for urinating inside a shop construction site and behind a Hindu shrine in front of the shop.
Your comments:
I blame the police who are paid by shops to ignore their behavior. If the cops jumped on all infringements the tourists would know what to expect. The downside of course would be a reduced number of my loud, vulgar compatriots visiting Bali. There are other places to go, but fix the cops' inconsistent approach.

As a proud Aussie, I say let them sit in jail for four years. Don't give them an option of paying a fee to get away with it. Sorry to the people of Bali as these guys do not represent Australia.

People like these two brothers give expatriates a bad name. Start respecting the property of others and their culture, or stay home and urinate in your own place.
Disgusting.
