AKARTA: Jono from rock-blues band Gugun Blues Shelter, has divorced Fauziah, his wife of 13 years, tribunnews.com is reporting.
The bassist, whose real name is Jonathan Peter Armstrong, filed a peitition for divorce in September at the East Jakarta Religious Court, which was granted on Nov. 18 after three hearings.
Court spokeswoman Dalih Efendy said that witnesses testified about the troubled marriage. 'The witnesses told us that they were frequently involved in arguments over the last two or three years,' Dalih said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
According to Dalih, the couple's youngest child, 2-year-old Thomas, will remain with Fauziah, while Jono was given custody their other children, 13-year-old Adam and 11-year-old Tobey.
