he Tangerang Police have arrested 40-year-old Luzi Nadia Koes Endang, the sister of veteran singer Hetty Koes Endang, for alleged drug abuse.
Luzi was arrested at her home in Puri Beta, Ciledug, Tangerang, Banten, on Monday following a tip off from residents.
Tangerang Police narcotics division head Adj. Sr. Comr. Juang said police had confiscated evidence comprising one gram of methamphetamine, five lighters and a bong.
'The police are still questioning her,' Juang said at his office as quoted by tempo.co on Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Luzi, a drug user for four years, bought the drugs at Kampung Ambon, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
A urine test also indicated that she had tested positive for amphetamine. She told investigators that she used the drugs to lose weight. (***)
