he son of a prominent businessman in Jambi, identified only by initials HA, has been named a graft suspect in the procurement of a generator for the Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital worth Rp 2.5 billion in 2012.
Jambi Prosecutor's Office special crimes assistant Elan Suherlan said on Wednesday that after naming Raden Mattaher Hospital director AIM a suspect, it was now was HA's turn.
HA was declared a suspect because he won the tender for the procurement of the generator by using provincial budget funds, Antara reported.
Investigators at the Jambi Prosecutor's Office found state losses of Rp 500 million.
The prosecutor's office is expected to name more suspects in the case. (***)
