he Central Sulawesi Police have arrested a drug dealer from Tarakan, North Kalimantan, with the initials MT, at a boarding house in Palu after a drug transaction.
'We have been making observations for a month and were only able to catch him on Jan. 21,' Central Sulawesi Police chief spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Hari Suprapto told reporters in Palu on Thursday.
He said the drug dealer was caught after officers from the narcotics unit disguised as buyers carrying Rp 1.7 billion (US$134,793) in cash made an appointment to meet him at a bank in Palu.
MT went to the bank to see the money and was immediately arrested in the parking lot and was caught with 600 grams of crystal meth stashed under the seat of his motorcycle.
