he Ngada community of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), will hold a second customary celebration titled 'Reba', at East Nusa Tenggara house in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, on Feb. 14.
A representative of the Ngada community in Jakarta, Siprianus Bate Soro, said the celebration was a symbol of the life and identity of the Ngada community and was expected to strengthen bonds between Ngada people who lived in Jakarta and their cultural roots.

Besides traditional dances, songs, games and poems, Saturday's event will feature a sacred ritual that describes the beginnings of the Ngada people, their beliefs and values. Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama and NTT Governor Frans Lebu Raya are expected to attend the event.
The community also held a cultural discussion at Kolese Kanisius high school in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday. (***)
