he article 'Australians reporting on Indonesia' published on this page on Feb. 23 incorrectly stated that Russ Tapsell said that Australian journalists maintained a vendetta against the Indonesian government after the Balibo 5 incident. What Tapsell said was that some Indonesian and Australian officials believed that Australian journalists had a vendetta. We regret the error.
