Supply, demand Consumers shop for fish at West Tomang Market in Jakarta on Wednesday. Fish supplies in Jakarta have dropped, with only 300 tons available per day compared to the demand for 400 tons a day. Extreme weather of late has disrupted distribution of locally caught fish, hence boosting the sales of imported fish.
