Under the sky Under the sky: A man sleeps in his cart on Jl. Gunung Sahari in Central Jakarta on Monday. According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Indonesian poverty rate was down from 14.5 percent in 2009 to 10.96 percent in 2014. Maluku and Papua still have the largest distribution of poor people in the country, followed by Bali and West and East Nusa Tenggara, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan.
