Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil says that he will go all out to make the West Java city a friendly place for movie makers.
Emil, as the mayor is better known, had a cameo in The Wedding & Bebek Betutu (The Wedding and Betutu Duck), a film produced by actor Tora Sudiro and his wife, actress Mieke Amalia.
'I have committed to make Bandung known as a creative-economy city. I really want the world to know that Bandung is a friendly place for movie makers,' Emil said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The mayor also promised to ease the permit process. 'I'll facilitate things, either on accommodations, logistics or any other thing during their stay here.'
