T

he Jakarta Police recently arrested a 17-year-old boy identified only as AH along with his older brother SA, 25, for allegedly stealing a wing mirror from a Toyota Harrier, worth Rp 15 million (US$1,154).

Jakarta Police criminal violence unit head Comr. Teuku Rasya said AH'€™s role was to remove the mirror, while SA held the car door shut to keep the driver inside the car.

According to Teuku, AH was arrested on a road in front of the House of Representatives in Senayan, South Jakarta, on Feb. 26, while SA was arrested in Pemalang, Central Java, three days later.

The brothers will be charged under Article 365 of the Criminal Code on theft with violence, which carries a five-year prison sentence.
