The government may make existing tax allowances applicable to labor-intensive industries in an effort to reach its 2-million-a-year job-creation target, an official with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) said Monday.

Your comments:

The attitude of the top person might change but it'€™s a conflict of interest with the tax office'€™s objective.

I had friends telling me that this year the tax officials are just being unreasonable and slapping tax and fines for no good reasons. This shows that our country lacks money and they are milking a dead cow.

Furthermore most labor-intensive companies use temporary workers because of difficulties with the government and unions.

It is still long way. And 30 percent hardly does anything if we get ripped off in other areas. The economic plan needs to be better elaborated to balance the economy and time is short.
