There is a moment in every abusive marriage where the woman wakes up one day and realizes she has married a violent person. I believe that is the situation that the Indonesian voting public now finds itself in.

Jokowi, that humble, clean-living furniture trader from Solo has agreed to dismember the Corruption Eradication Commissio (KPK) and all corruption eradication efforts in Indonesia so his political patrons can loot Indonesia with impunity.

Why wasn'€™t this highlighted during and before the presidential elections? This clearly shows that corruption is alive and well in Indonesia and most (if not all) politicians want it this way.

The work of the KPK shows that everybody is corrupt '€” there is no question about it.
