ng Eu Dhee, a 63-year-old Singaporean, was found dead at the Wisma Indonesia Hotel in Cilincing, North Jakarta, on Monday.
Cilincing police criminal unit head Adj. Comr. Andri Suharto said Ong was found dead in the hotel room with a woman. Andri added that Ong was in Jakarta for a vacation and had been staying at the hotel since Friday.
According to Andri, the woman was on the toilet when she heard the sound of something falling. Andri said the preliminary investigation indicated that Ong might have suffered from a vitality drug overdose.
'We suspect that he died after consuming too many vitality drugs. We found some of the drugs in the room,' Andri said on Monday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The police took several pieces of evidence from the room, including two pornographic DVDs, various brands of vitality drugs, the victim's passport, two hotel bills, five cans of beer and one empty beer can.
