Your comments on Saturday's arrest by the Densus 88 counterterrorism squad of five alleged extremists linked to 16 Indonesians apprehended by the Turkish authorities, who suspected them of intending to cross the border into Syria to join the Islamic State (IS) group:
It's good to know that, but then I think we need more than just Densus 88. Its tasks, among other things, are to keep Indonesia's rich resources out of the hands of corrupt citizens. Do not let corruptors get away with what they steal, ransacking everything.

Bravo Densus 88. We also need to arrest everyone who donates to Islamic State supporters in Indonesia. Let's complete this mission sometime this year. We need tougher regulations to prevent the spread of IS ideology.

This situation has a simple answer. Cancel their Indonesian citizenship along with their passports.
If they believe the IS can give them a better life then let them be.

Is there a procedure in place for canceling Indonesian citizenship?

Indonesia has child protection laws, so the police and the government should bring them back to safety so they can have a better future.
Where are all those so-called child protectors now who were on the TV everyday during the international school case last year?

It is sad when Indonesians are looking to the Middle East for a better life.
