Afgan Syahreza will be sitting in one the judge's seats on the second season of the local version of talent-scouting show X Factor, replacing the ever-luminous chanteuse Anggun C. Sasmi.
The 25-year-old actor and singer will join musicians and producers Ahmad Dhani, Bebi Romeo and singer Rossa on the panel.
'We want to create a 'One Direction' phenomenon this season,' Afgan said, referring to the British-Irish boy band that performed in Jakarta on Wednesday night.'We've seen many male talents who were fit to sing in a group during the audition.'
'Although people here are not too enthusiastic about boy bands, we'll see if we can make it happen,' he added.
