Alex Abbad says that he had to up his acting game for his role in the upcoming improvisational film Melancholy Movement.
'I was surprised when I received only a 20-page script,' the 36-year-old actor and former MTV VJ said, as reported by kapanlagi.com on Thursday. 'Usually for a feature film, the script is some 80-pages thick.'
Melancholy, the second movie of Richard Oh, is based on the acclaimed author's experience in show business, telling of a director who half-heartedly releases a religious-themed film to great success.
Alex, who also had a role in the actioner The Raid 2, said shooting took only a week. 'But the preparations took place for a year before filming started.'
