Crackdown: Officers of the Densus 88 counterterrorism unit force open the door of a house in Petukangan, South Jakarta

Your comments on Saturday's arrest by the Densus 88 counterterrorism squad of five alleged extremists linked to 16 Indonesians apprehended by the Turkish authorities, which suspected them of attempting to cross into Syria to join the Islamic State (IS) organization:
Densus 88 officers do not only arrest alleged extremists, but they have also killed alleged extremists in the past before they were found guilty.

Densus 88 has proved itself, but we need an institution that can detect extremism earlier so we can prevent people from becoming extremists.

This is becoming our concern. We have too many radical organizations that possibly support or have even decided to join IS.
It's a bit late to realize now that funds are supporting the IS movement in Indonesia.
The government should have already carried out some preventative action.
The government should trace the suspected organizations or people who receive these funds.
Then it should cooperate with Muslims to implement preventative action by making people aware of the danger of IS and that IS is wrong according to Islam.
It will help the government stop IS in Indonesia.
