T

en individuals being held at the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) in Cawang, East Jakarta, escape from the detention center by breaking through the walls early on Tuesday.

'€œAt about 3 a.m., several BNN detainees escaped by destroying the bottom section of the back walls and sawing off the security bars,'€ Sr. Comr. Slamet Pribadi, BNN spokesperson, said on Tuesday.

The hole the detainees made measured 40 x 30 centimeters. The diameter of each security bar was about 16 millimeters, tribunnews.com reported.

'€œWe advise the 10 detainees to return immediately, otherwise stern measures will be taken,'€ Slamet went on.

BNN said five of the escapees were from the so-called Aceh network: Abdullah alias Dulah, 35, Samsul Bahri alias Kombet, 42, Hamdani Razali, 36, Hasan Basri, 35, and Usman alias Raoh, 42.

Two others '€” Apip Apriansyah, 33, and M. Husein, 42 '€” were arrested for dealing crystal methamphetamine near the San Diego Hills luxury cemetery in Karawang, West Java. The other three escapees are Erick Yustin, 39, Harry Radiawana alias Pak De, 47, and Franky Gozali alias Thomas, 24.
